It is often more difficult for hotels to contact you in the event there is a need to change your reservation (think overbooking or natural disaster... speaking from experience here, unfortunately).

I do not typically book flights due to the complexities of the airline industry, such as potential day of changes due to weather conditions, delays, and cancellations. Instead, I offer recommendations for suggested flights or airline routes that may best suit your trip and provide assistance for you to book these directly. 

Yes, you can! If you know me, you know I almost never pay for a flight with cash, and I absolutely want to help you learn how to do the same! I encourage you to use your points and miles to book airfare (typically the best points value anyway) while letting me handle your hotel reservations. This way, you can enjoy the benefits of your points and still take advantage of the added perks at your accommodation.

If you choose to use your points on hotels, please note that since no money is exchanged with the hotel, I do not receive a commission. As a result, a planning fee may apply for my services. Additionally, using hotel points means you may not have access to all the exclusive perks that I like to provide for my clients. While you'll still receive the standard benefits associated with your hotel rewards membership, the special perks often offered through our partnerships might not be available.

Absolutely! Just let me know up front which hotel you have loyalty with, and I can prioritize that when scouting accommodations. I'll need your loyalty number and will attach it to your reservation, so you will earn points/stays just as you would when booking directly through the hotel.

I definitely understand that travel plans can change for many reasons, and I do everything I can to accommodate my clients in the event of trip cancelations. Here's what you need to know: 

Package One (The Getaway): Since this service only involves booking accommodations, I will simply reschedule or cancel the reservations if your plans change with no penalty on my end. Please note that this is only an option if the reservation was for a refundable room. 

Package Two (The Adventure) and Package Three (The Escape): These services require significant time and planning, so the trip planning fee is non-refundable. I will do my very best to assist with rescheduling or canceling reservations, but please note that other companies I work with—such as cruise lines, tour operators, or car rental companies—have their own refund policies that we must adhere to. While I strive to accommodate changes, every situation is unique, and I will handle each one accordingly. If you just need to change dates and still want to visit the same location, your previously paid travel planning fee will be used as a credit for your future trip :)
